Hey, I’m Selina. I don’t teach basic Chinese: I teach Natural Flow Mechanics.

For so many advanced learners, Chinese feels like a marathon where, even after acing the HSK, you still don’t dare to speak. You’ve "collected" thousands of words, but that frustrating mental translation lag keeps you totally disconnected from fast-paced conversations.

I know this pain because I lived it.

Even with a five-year linguistics degree and years of experience as an HSK coach, I still hit that wall when I moved abroad. I remember the sting of being told I sounded robotic and unintentionally rude. I could speak the language, but I couldn't connect.

Seeing that my own students were destined to face this exact same hurdle, I quit standard test prep to build the missing link.
